Michelle & T.J. – Engagement Pictures at Red Rocks and Downtown Denver
Michelle & T.J. are having a destination wedding next year in Negril, Jamaica. Aww….Jamaica… breathtaking beaches, Bob Marley inspiration, amazing waterfalls, and a “No problem mon” attitude…..I could write a whole blog post about Jamaica, but I’ll save that for another time 😉
Not only do Michelle & T.J. love attending concerts at Red Rocks, but their first date was spent just walking around the park together, and it where their love and deep connection for each other all started. So now Red Rocks has a special place in both their hearts, and it was really important to them to do engagement pictures there. So we first met at Red Rocks and got some fun pictures just hanging out and walking around the rocky trails. They had these really cool wood numbers painted with their Jamaica wedding date on it, and even brought along some Jamaican knit hats, which ended up working perfectly for their save the dates.
Michelle & T.J also love the urban downtown look and were really into night photography so as the sun set we headed to downtown Denver. We walked around the Millennium Bridge, dodged skateboarders, and found some fun sculptures and colorful graffiti walls to pose with.
Originally I had in the plans to take them to a graffiti wall I know of that has a painting of the Denver skyline., as they also wanted to show off the city the live in and fell in love in. However their was a Rockies game that night so I knew the wall would be blocked by lots of cars so instead I took them to another spot where we could get the actual real Denver skyline.
Play the slideshow below to see more shots of this beautiful couple around Red Rocks and downtown Denver. Hopefully I’ll be at their wedding next year, then I’ll write much more about Jamaica, and of course have lots more pictures to go with it!
