I want to capture this important time in your life with a fun photo shoot that shows off your own unique style and personality. I’ve also been told my style is quite diverse, as not only do I like to capture the creative shots, but the candid silly moments, and the beautiful smiles of my clients as well. Where do you do your sessions?
75% of my photo shoots take place on-location in the Denver metro region. Some of the most popular locations include downtown, Denver Art Museum, Wash Park, and Red Rocks. I love to travel as well, so I can also make a full day of it and drive up to the mountains or anywhere in Colorado for a photo shoot. And I quickly fill up my calendar with portraits sessions when traveling back home to New Orleans. I can recommend a wide selection of locations from parks to downtown urban landscapes. And I also love to try out new locations, so if you have a unique idea for a photo shoot please let me know.
Can you explain in more detail how your sessions work?
BEFORE THE SHOOT: All photo sessions include a Design Consultation which is a brief meeting done either in person or remotely. At this time we will go over all the details as well as decide on a location, date, clothing, and other options that will work best for your photography needs. I can also do your design consultation complimentary before you even book, that way you can be sure you feel comfortable with me and my services before committing to anything.
DURING THE SHOOT: For your photo session we will meet at the agreed upon time and place. Most photo shoots run 1-2 hours. It will be a fun experience that will feel more like a unique date then a photo shoot.
AFTER THE SHOOT: We will schedule a time for you to do your Photo Reveal about 1 week after your photo shoot. This is the exciting part that you’ve been waiting for where you get to see all of your edited images! I’ll help you narrow down your favorite pictures for your order and figure out what products will show them off the best.
Do you retouch the images?
Yes, moderate retouching such as blemish removal, teeth whitening, and color toning are included on all of your ordered images. Additional retouching can be requested for an additional fee.
So how much does a photo session cost?
We have a few different packages to choose from depending on the type of session and the location of your photo shoot, starting at $275. For more details fill out our contact form and let us know what type of photo shoot you are interested in doing and if you have any preferred locations or dates.
What type of products do you offer?
Most people choose one of the memory books or guest books which they can have their friends and family sign on their wedding day (so much better then the old-school traditional way of signing on a line). We also have many other products such as canvas & metal wall art, save the dates, photo boxes, fine art prints, and even a music video! We will review all of these options during your Design Consultation but you do not have to make any decisions until you see the images during your Photo Reveal.
Can I get the digital files?
Yes, we have different options available for digital files depending on if you are looking for the low resolution copies to share online (such as on your Facebook page), or the high resolution digital files to do your printing elsewhere. Most people prefer to have us handle all the printing as we can guarantee professional high quality products with full retouching.
How far in advance do I need to book?
If you have a specific date you need your pictures for please let us know when booking. We typically schedule these photo shoots for anywhere from 3-30 days out, meet up one week later for your Photo Reveal, and then can have your final order ready within 1- 4 weeks, depending on what you order. A lot of it depends on how busy we are and how flexible your schedule is, but it is typically anywhere from 3-6 weeks to have everything complete from the time you first contact us. If you are one of those that like to wait till the last minute and are afraid it’s already too late please contact us before writing it off. We have been known to perform miracles.
