Caitlin and Patrick’s Picture Preview
Caitlin and Patrick recently held their wedding at Blackstone Country Club in Aurora, Colorado. With all the rain we’ve been getting in Colorado this summer I was a little nervous of another rainy weather day, but luckily all the storm clouds stayed far enough away to allow for a beautiful wedding day.

The Stunning Bride
The bride and her bridesmaids found their dresses at David’s Bridal. The bride wore a contemporary sleek gown and her bridesmaids wore a simple but elegant short black dresses accented by beautiful white and pink bouquets. These are the type of bridesmaid dresses that may actually get worn again.
Bridesmaids Strike a Pose
The groomsmen wore grey suits from Men’s Warehouse and they each were gifted unique cuff links picked out by the groom ranging from their favorite NFL teams to Superman.

The storm clouds parted for the ceremony as they enjoyed a quick ceremony so that they could get on to the fun part- dancing the night away with lots of family and friends!

Sealed with a Kiss
After the ceremony we hopped onto a golf cart and took Caitlin & Patrick around the grounds of Blackstone Country Club for their romantic portraits. This tunnel below is one of my favorite spots to photograph at, lots of fun unique perspectives.

The black and white modern theme carried on through the reception decor as can be seen below. And instead of a wedding cake, the bride & groom chose something a little more nontraditional- a tower of cupcakes created by Bliss Cupcakes, for all the guests to enjoy.

Their wedding reception was quite a celebration full of emotional toast, funny introductions, and lots of surprises. Their DJ, Robert Krueger Entertainment, provided entertainment including hilarious introductions of the wedding party, a short story about the meaning behind the cake cutting, and shared a love story about the bride and groom. And the groom had some entertainment of his own up his sleeve. Patrick and his mom started doing a traditional slow mother-son dance and then surprised everyone by breaking out into a mix of fast and funny dances. Then the groom led his men in a wild Backstreet Boys dance for the bride.
